Methods for saving energy and heating in winter chicken

The winter is cold. In order to grow the chicks better, the temperature increase measures are necessary. So how to make the chicken house not only achieve the effect of warming, but also save energy?

1.Use hot air bag or plumbing
The chickens are caged in the house, and the stove can be set up outside the house. The chicken house can be heated centrally through hot air belts or heating pipes, while paying attention to ventilation and fire prevention. The fire door should be located outside the house, or the coal stove can be placed in the house for heating, but a certain number of vents should be left in the chicken house.

  2.Increase wall thickness
In order to reduce heat loss and maintain indoor temperature, a layer of polystyrene board can be used inside or outside the wall. The thickness of the board can be flexibly controlled according to the thickness of the wall. If done well, this measure can save 1/4 of energy.

3. Block the window
If conditions permit, you can use doors and windows made of plastic steel or aluminum alloy, and double-thickened specifications for glass. Although the cost is high, it is free from the tedious annual blocking. If the conditions are poor, you can use polystyrene board, cotton curtains and multilayer plastic to seal the window tightly, and then use wooden strips or cardboard to strengthen and nail the inner insulation material to prevent cold wind from directly entering and exiting the chicken house. Insulation effect.

4, set up above or below the flue
If the chicken house is provided with above-ground or underground flue heating, a certain amount of fuel should be added, and care should be taken to prevent air leakage from the flue. Above-ground flues are hotter than underground flues and have higher utilization rates. Underground flues save space than above-ground flues.

  5, ceiling
If the height of the house is too high or the roof is not warm enough, you can hang a ceiling in the house or lay a layer of thermal insulation felt or straw (straw, wheat straw, etc.) on the roof to improve the insulation effect and reduce heat loss.

  6.Building a thermal insulation shed
At present, some farmers use plastic film insulation sheds on the front and back sides of the chicken house, and use solar energy for heating. This not only absorbs the heat of the sun, but also reduces the heat loss of the chicken house. At the same time, avoid the cold stress caused by cold wind blowing directly into the house.

  7, heating stove heating
Of all the heating methods, the heating furnace has the highest thermal efficiency and rapid heating, which can meet the needs of the chicken house temperature to the greatest extent. The temperature difference between the exhaust gas discharged from the winter house and the fresh air supplied is large, and the waste heat of the exhaust gas has certain utilization value. Therefore, in order to solve the contradiction between ventilation and heat preservation, the waste heat heating stove in the exhaust gas in the house can be used, which can reduce energy waste and improve breeding efficiency.

  8.Promote hanging chimneys
If the stove is used for heating, the circulation length of the chimney in the house should be prolonged as much as possible, so that the heat generated by the combustion of coal can be dissipated in the chicken house as much as possible to reduce the waste of thermal energy. Generally, the length of the chimney is about 20 meters.

  9.Install air duct
An air duct with a diameter of 16 cm to 18 cm and a length of 3.5 m to 4 m is installed every 4 meters on the vertical walls on both sides of the chicken house. It is installed along the ceiling and uses light materials such as plastic, polyvinyl chloride and glass fiber reinforced plastic. It can help control the minimum ventilation and reduce the stress response of chickens.

  10.Install the thermostat
Using a thermostat to control the temperature and ventilation of the chicken house, to achieve the minimum ventilation management, this can not only make the temperature of the chicken house meet the needs of normal growth and development of the chicken, but also save coal, and reduce the stress of cold chicken on the chicken body.
